“To be ‘well’ is not to live in a state of perpetual safety and calm, but to move fluidly from a state of adversity, risk, adventure, or excitement, back to safety and calm, and out again. Stress is not bad for you; being stuck is bad for you.”

-Dr. Amelia Nagoski & Dr. Emily Nagoski

Therapeutic Services

  • Inclusivity.

It is my intention to create a safe space for clients who are ready to work with and through the experiences that make up the chapters of their lives. By embracing the difficult aspects of our stories in a safe space, I believe that we are able to heal and trust ourselves. In order to create this safe space, I am dedicated to continuously learning and growing as both an ally and advocate for LBGTQIA+ and BIPOC communities by embedding those perspectives in my daily life as well as attending professional development trainings.

The experiences, perspectives, and culture of each and every one of my clients is of the utmost value to me as a professional and I feel honored to be able to hold space for each individual who comes into my office.

  • Theoretical framework.

AKA my approach to working with clients

At the core, I view people with an Adlerian perspective. People are social beings who create their identities through their roles within their communities of families, work, school, and other collective environments.

Additionally, I believe people are all made up of different parts with each part functioning to keep the composite Self identity safe. This is an integration of Internal Family Systems therapy. Chapters Within Therapy derives its name from my belief that parts of each person can be explored through chapters of their life.
